The Best Mommy in the World Award goes toooooo........

What is a mother?

I think being a mother is the hardest job anyone can have.

I know someone who does nothing but tries to please her kids all day long.
She is the best mother I know of.
She's the type of mother who will put down everything she's doing to make her kids smile and laugh their heads off...and they do!!

Her day begins with her kids
and ends with her kids.

(and she even has time to squeeze in with her hubby..)

She is such a great influence on me. And I know that when her kids are teenagers, she'll still be the coolest mom in the world..

She's crazy buuuuttttt.......I gotta love her to death!

It's been awhile..Easter weekend

MAANNNNN, It's been some time since I've been on here. I guess my excuse would be....school?? maybe. Work??....nahhhhhh....U KNOW I AIN'T GOT NO JOB! LOL =] So the last several weeks have been a bit crazyyyy for me. I've slept in my own house like 5 times...JUST KIDDING! But for real though! Lately, I've been hanging out with my long time friend Cari a lot. And now, I honestly don't know what I would do without her! CHEEZYYYYY, I know!! We even made shirts....nd once we get pictures of us wearing them...I will most def. post them. They're purple, the front says It's a Hairflip, and our names are on the back. So anyway, Easter weekend was awesome. I hung out with my loves, Cari and Elizabeth and her babies, Mason and Terri. We went to an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday and I was shocked to hear that all kids were only allowed a maximum of 8 eggs! BLASPHEMY! What kind of egg hunt is that?!?!?? Back in the day, I used to go home with like 50 eggs! SHOOT!

Terri was satisfied with her first egg...then she was done! =]

And as for Mason, 5 seconds after starting the egg hunt, he came back with his 8 eggs!!

TELL ME WHY THEY ONLY PUT JELLY BEANS IN THE EGGS! WHAT IS THAT!!!! UGH!

So, over all, we had a great Easter!

I thought this was so awesome

So this is like the best ever....

So, I really don't know what to call this....a poem, a journal, a....I don't know. But I've been sooooo bored so I went to Google and literally typed in "run away with me" I wasn't talking about any guy or anyone specifically. So, I found this lady's website, I guess. and she wrote this. It's so amazing. anyways....read it.
Run Away With Me

I think we need to get away. Just you and I, somewhere far away from either of our "here's". We both have been longing for human contact, a connection that simply can't be brought about through phone lines and computer systems. We need the time away from the things that we do on such a regular basis: the e-mail, the phone calls, the fax this, fax that routine. There should be no applications between us, just air -- clean and crisp -- that floats and sways invisibly around us.

Let's pretend we have no responsibilities and actually postpone them for a few days. Let's hide for a bit from the evils of the world. Let's run away and pretend we're the only ones that matter.

We'll walk and nap and sleep and dream. We can tell stories and talk about the funny foot-patterns left in freshly vacuumed carpet. I'd love to hear stories from your childhood -- you know, the ones about the aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents. I want to hear about your favorite memory. And I'll tell you about mine. It's about sharing.

I'll cook. (And if that doesn't convince you to steal away with me for a while, I don't know what will.) I'll even try something new. You name it. It'll be the best you've ever had.

Neither of us will have to write all weekend, nor answer the telephone. We can unplug it. It will be grand. We might attain perfect silence, at least for a second. I won't bring a laptop if you won't.

Let's go to the woods, where the air is crisp and cool. The city-life has dulled our senses and sped up our routines. We'll get a cabin. I'll take the couch and you can have the bed. It's got a down comforter, I'm sure.

And if the nights are cold, we can light a fire in the fireplace and drink ourselves silly. We can dance and spin and twirl around the room, if you'd like. And then we can pass out with smiles on our faces.

We'll curl up in each other's arms and be happy that we have someone to curl up with. We'll remember what it feels like to be truly alive.

We don't have to be in love to do this. All we need is the desire to connect and the desire to get away.

So, what's stopping us?
